I'm nominating Senator Bernie Sanders for an American Award in the category of "Best Statesman" for the speech he gave a few days ago on the floor of the U.S. Senate. I've been a fan of Bernie for a while, and it's because of moments like this (see video). Not only does he stand up for the working man, but he does so with style, often embracing an absolutely hilarious routine to get his point across.
